Richard Solomon is a leading South Australian franchise and business solicitor. He has worked with some of Australia’s leading franchisors and franchisees and has been a member of the Franchise Council of Australia since 1989, staying up to date in all franchising developments.

As well as franchising, Richard has a keen interest in assisting clients in establishing their businesses, working with these businesses to operate efficiently and in compliance with the law and selling businesses. Richard has a way of analysing your current legal compliance and explaining what you need to do in a language that you will understand. He works with clients to find creative solutions and achieve the most practical and commercial result possible.

Richard’s franchise advice for the last 30 years has been as the senior partner of small law firms and since mid 2020 he has been operating as Richard Solomon & Associates.

Shannon Collins has been working for Richard Solomon as a Paralegal since July 2019 completing conveyancing and estate transactions as well as assisting Richard with commercial clients. In December 2020, Shannon was admitted as a barrister and solicitor of the Supreme Court of South Australia after completing a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of International Studies at the University of Adelaide.

Since then Shannon has been working as a full-time solicitor and works directly with clients in areas of law including Commercial Law, Property Law, Conveyancing, Estate Administration and Civil Litigation.

Shannon is dedicated and hard-working, and uses these attributes in her day-to-day work to achieve the best commercial results for our clients.
